Thermofloc VSD Membrane

The THERMOFLOC VSD Membrane is a high performance airtight membrane with a variable s.d. value, designed to act as an effective vapour control layer while allowing two way movement of water vapour. This ensures optimal moisture management and long term protection for building structures.

Reinforced for increased tear resistance, the VSD Membrane is compatible with most insulation systems, including THERMOFLOC cellulose insulation, making it a versatile solution for internal wall and roof applications.

Installation Guidelines

1. Fasten to the supporting structures using staples or adhesive.
2. Install with the printed side facing inward toward the room (fibrous side toward insulation). 
3. For use with THERMOFLOC blow in insulation, installation can be longitudinal or transverse. (If installed crosswise, cover taped joints with continuous battening to withstand blow in pressure).
4. Ensure all surfaces for taping or adhesion are dry, dust free, and grease free.
