Livos LINUS No. 232 – Natural Varnish for Interior Wood Surfaces

Livos LINUS No. 232 is a high-performance natural varnish designed for interior wood surfaces, including furniture, wooden bathtubs, and areas exposed to occasional water splashes. This eco-friendly clear varnish enhances the natural tone of the wood while providing breathable, durable protection.

Technical qualities

Formulated to be open-pored and permanently elastic, LINUS 232 allows wood to expand and contract naturally, helping maintain structural integrity over time. It slightly deepens the colour of untreated timber without creating a glossy film, preserving a clean, natural look.

Tested for saliva and sweat resistance (DIN 53160) and certified safe for children’s toys (DIN EN 71 Part 3), this vegan-friendly wood finish is free from harmful organic-chemical compounds (DIN EN 71 Part 9), making it ideal for health-conscious households.

Application Instructions

Apply 2–3 sparing coats with a brush, sprayer, or dip method. For dipping, dilute 10–20%. Best applied at temperatures above 12°C (53.6°F). Remove any excess oil 30 minutes after application. In warmer conditions, drying times are shorter – polish sooner as needed.
