Description

The EPS router is made from high-grade plastic and is used to route the EPS before adding metal mechanical fixings into the external wall insulation system. Routing the EPS allows the fixings to be countersunk into the EPS, allowing space for EPS caps to be applied on top of the fixing head. Using EPS caps helps to prevent cold bridging and to create a flush finish across the surface.

The EPS router has a 64mm diameter which matches the diameter of the head of the mechanical fixing. The EPS router fits into any drill / electric screwdriver, allowing you to quickly produce the holes required to countersink the metal mechanical fixings.
