Description

Cornerstone Promix Superfine is a dry ready mixed plaster designed for internal finishing plaster coats within an appropriate render system. Available in the colour white, which provides a nearly pure white finish when trowelled or an off-white finish when sponged.

Engineered with precision utilising 100% pure natural hydraulic lime, natural sands, and conservation-appropriate additives to create a smooth and satisfying superfine finishing plaster. Working aids allow for a longer open time, making this breathable plaster undemanding to apply, level, and finish.

Well-suited for a smooth and satisfying internal finish or projects looking to achieve a traditional aesthetic of a lime putty plaster but without the slower setting time.

  • Conservation appropriate additives
  • Vapour permeable for improved moisture management
  • A faster set than a traditional lime putty plaster
  • Features the feel of a modern mortar
  • No pigments to prevent colour fading
  • No-fuss levelling and finishing
  • Increased water retention with decreased slumping
  • Minimised likelihood of shrinkage cracking
  • Enhanced workability for those behind the trowel
  • Extended working and finishing time

A 20kg bag yields approximately 15 litres of lime plaster and covers roughly 5.6m² at a 2.5mm thickness. Consumption rates will change based on how even the background is and suction. On-site trials are advised for the best yield indication for your specific project.

As natural products, our kiln-dried sands may exhibit variations in colour, texture, and shape. While these variations are minimal, when colour consistency is crucial, we strongly advise each elevation is completed using material from the same batch.

Supplied in 25kg polythene-lined and colour and batch-code paper bags for easy identification on-site and palletised for ease of transport, storage, and handling. FIBC tonne bags are also available.

Do not use in temperatures below 5°C or above 30°C, or if freezing conditions are predicted within the following few weeks, including wind chill. We always advise following best practices for curing and protecting fresh lime renders and plasters. Protect from adverse environmental conditions, including frost, rain, direct sunlight and drying winds.

Store in covered and dry conditions, protected from environmental conditions, including water, damp or frost and clear from the ground. Always reseal packaging if product is still present.

Always read the available documentation before use. See the Download Documentation section below for more detailed product information, application guidance and datasheets.
