Installation Guidelines

• Lay parallel to the eaves with a 10cm overlap.
• Secure overlaps with broad-headed nails or staples, ensuring fixings are covered.
• Seal overlaps with Ampacoll XT 60 mm or the integrated tapes for full rain and wind proofing.
• Transverse joints must overlap 10 cm and be sealed with Ampacoll Superfix or Ampacoll XT 60 mm.
• Fix cross battens using Ampacoll ND nail seals or ND.Band - ND Duo tape.
• Connections around chimneys, dormers and gutter beds must be glued with Ampacoll Superfix and mechanically secured.
• Penetration points (vents, flues, ducts) must be sealed with Ampacoll BK 535 butyl rubber tape.
• Porous or dusty substrates should be primed with Ampacoll Primax or Airmax before applying butyl tapes.
