The EWI Pro – Clamping Washer is designed for use with EWI fixings to securely attach insulation boards to external walls. It plays a crucial role in maintaining system integrity under various environmental conditions, ensuring firm attachment while minimizing thermal bridging.

This clamping washer is compatible with EWI Pro fixings and supports a range of insulation materials, including EPS, mineral wool, and phenolic boards. It features an integrated masking plug to further reduce thermal bridging and enhance the overall aesthetic. Suitable for insulation layers of any thickness, it allows for both surface and recessed mounting, with the appropriate screw selection.

Application Instructions

Preparation – Ensure the wall surface is clean and free of debris. Fixing Placement – Insert the EWI fixing through the center of the clamping washer. Installation – Place the combined fixing and washer into the pre-drilled hole in the insulation board and wall, securing it firmly. Final Check – Verify that the washer sits flush against the insulation board to ensure even load distribution.
